GDPR FOR DENTAL WEBSITES

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is likely to be a big topic of discussion for many dentists and exhibitors. The Professional Dentistry show will be hosted in London at Olympia Central on 9th and 10th February 2018 and I shall be available to answer any questions you may have regarding GDPR and how it will affect your dental website. Visit my design4dentists stand D34 where I shall be exhibiting or book your place in my conference below to learn all about Dental Websites & Mobile Apps.

UNDERSTANDING GDPR?

Here is a short video to explain the changes you will need to apply to your dental website. Unless you have a content managed website such as WordPress, you may not be able to carry out the changes yourself. Speak to your website design company or dental marketing company as soon as possible. Alternatively come and see me at Professional Dentistry. You do not want to leave this to the last minute as you may have to upgrade your hosting facilities. GDPR comes into effect from 25th May 2018 and you will need to prepare your data protection policies before this date.

DENTAL WEBSITE COMPLIANCE

I view and asses many dental websites all over the UK. Many of then are not compliant with the General Dental Council’s rules and regulations. To learn more about this, visit the design4dentists website where we have a dedicated page that lists the information principals of dental practices have to include on their websites.
